Michael Kosta

In the first grade Michael Kosta’s teacher asked him what he wanted to be when he grew up. “I want to be funny”, Michael answered. A perplexed teacher responded, “But Michael, that’s not a profession” Utilizing an already sharp wit and cunning intelligence Michael replied; “You’re fat.”

Years later, it’s that same level of maturity that brings Michael to the forefront of the entertainment industry. Having previously established himself as one of the world’s best players on the professional tennis tour, Michael has taken his competitive nature to the comedic stage for an act that has been described as, “The work of a man with a million dollar smile and a pocket full of BS.”

Michael may enjoy writing about himself in the third person, but it’s his “playful narcissism” that makes him a comedy stand out. Michael describes himself as being “very tall, very handsome and very funny.” To date, Michael is certain he has never read a bio where the author, who also happens to be the comedian, quoted himself about himself. “That’s just genius” said Michael, while admiring himself in the mirror.

Michael recently taped his television debut on Comedy Central’s Live at Gotham and also performed five shows at the prestigious HBO/ US Comedy Festival in Aspen, Colorado. Michael has also been heard on the nationally syndicated Bob and Tom radio show and has been a guest on The National Lampoon Radio show on XM radio numerous times.

Catch this rising star before he achieves comedic superstardom, proving to himself and his fat first grade teacher that, in fact, being funny is a profession.

High energy stage performances and the ability to write material for all tastes is a winning combination for this Boston native.

Steve Macone

Steve Macone is somewhere between the life of the party and the most nervous person in the room. He has entertained audiences across the US and in England with his brand of piercing observational humor and absurdist one-liners, a high-energy style that blends an extreme confidence with the awkwardness we all feel. His humor writing has been enjoyed by readers of the Boston Globe Magazine and the Boston Phoenix and he is a regular at clubs around Boston. He has performed at "Comics Come Home" alongside Dennis Leary and Steven Wright in front of more than 5,000 people.

One of the cleanest and most clever acts to come out of Boston in recent years, Steve is less "I can't believe he just said that" and more "I can't believe he just thought of that."
